VINTAGE Novelty film co 16mm MUTT AND JEFF FILM / MOVIE – “THE NIGHTMARE”
Found at an estate sale with an old 16mm projector, it’s 16mm as marked on the box.  Reel measures 2 3/4 inches.
Film
appears to be in good condition with the exception as noted as follows, however I have not unwound it past the
opening scene to inspect it.  Exception:  the beginning of the film is missing, no opening titles it starts with one of the scenes after a rip in the film (see pictures).   Near where the film has torn there are jagged edges too.  The jagged edges appear go for the first 3 feet of the film, I unrolled a couple of yards and it looks ok after that point.  I did not unroll the whole film.  The film must have gotten caught in the projector at some time.  Box shows a lot of wear but is complete except the two interior side tabs on the top of the box are missing.
