Super 8mm Color Film ~ ~ 1973 West Indies Cruise
Lot of TWO (2) 7″ Reels with 300′ on Each ~ ~
Films DO Smell of Vinegar
Exact items shown. Both of these reels have been sealed in their Yankee Universal 8mm Reel & Can Set for years, as I acquired them from either an auction or flea market several years ago, and were in a box with a postmark of 2009. Obviously, the films are older than that, as they are labeled 1973.
Both of these are in the deteriorating process, as they do smell of vinegar. I do not see any mildew on the outside edges of the film. I did NOT view either of these myself. I can see they are in color, super-8 format. Each 400′ reel has 300′ of film on it, approximately 24 minutes viewing time.
These are a set, with the insert describing the contents (see pictures). Titled West Indies Cruise, February 3, 1973. Both film itineraries are the same, except for saying Part 1 and Part 2. Shows the various cities visited, along with the dates. NOTE: I don’t know if the films got switched over time (if part 1 is in the correct part 1 can, and vice-versa for part 2).
